The encounter
Le Colibri takes in young people placed in care by a court decision as part of the child protection system. Much more than a home, it is a community house where young people learn to live and work together, supervised by educators according to the Scouting principles.
The project
The need is to discover the different facets of this atypical place of life and all that makes it special, in an intimate and warm manner.
The result
A short documentary that lets the protagonists of Le Colibri develop: the young people who live there and their educators. Personal testimonies punctuate the storytelling to show the moments of conviviality, the work at the school, and the professional projects in the making.
